2013 Garden History Tours!

Fancy joining the Seventeenth Century Lady for a tour around the gardens of one of the most famous palaces in the world?

That’s right, the Garden History Tours at Kensington Palace are back up and running! I started them off on Thursday, 2nd of May, which was a beautiful sunny, warm day. These award-winning tours* are free, last approximately one hour and give you exclusive access into the beautiful Sunken Garden (which regular visitors are not allowed entry into).

Each tour guide offers a unique tour, and mine tend to focus more upon the William & Mary additions, but include all the major changes to the gardens at Kensington Palace under the various monarchs from the 17th Century to the present day.

Tours run every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until the 28th of September, so don’t miss out! For more information, and for the dates of the tours that I will be leading, please check out my diary. Whilst these tours are free, I do suggest you stay to visit the palace itself, where we currently have the moving “Victoria Revealed” exhibit about Queen Victoria, who was born at Kensington Palace in 1819. For visiting information, tickets and pricing, please go to the official website.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Hope to see you at the Palace!
